Stinson Beach

Stinson Beach, a popular destination for surfers, sun-worshipers, and water-lovers, greets visitors with its white sandy beaches and crashing waves. Located in Marin County just south of the town of Stinson Beach, it is administered by the National Park Service as part of Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Bus service to Stinson Beach is offered by Marin Transit, seven days a week (excludes major holidays). The West Marin Stagecoach provides weekday service between Stinson Beach and Marin City, and weekend service between Stinson Beach and Sausalito, where riders can make transfers to Golden Gate Transit bus routes and ferries.
